NBA Game Length Changing?

I'm choosing to do my analysis on the NBA attempting to change their game lengths. Currently, games last 48 minutes, which usually translate to 2 1/2 hours. This goes on for 82 games of a regular season, plus the playoffs if the team makes it that far. An argument can be made for both sides of this attempt and social media has definitely had an impact on every detail of this change being available to the public.

Program Award

Hey guys, I just wanted to take a second and share this wonderful award that I received from the Council of People with Disabilities last week for community involvement with disabled individuals. This $500 dollar award is going directly back to my clients and I'm going to be buying them a game room of a foosball, air hockey, and ping pong table. So, that's it, just wanted to talk myself up for a minute, thanks for your time!

How Will I Make A Change? I'll Change.

I'm a firm believer that in order to change the world you must first change yourself. I brought it up in class that after I graduate from this current education system, I am never looking back. That has been my mentality from day one, that I don't feel that I owe it anything. To me, it's taken my money, taken 16 years of my time, and prepared me for nothing except how to distinguish a volcanic rock from a normal one. I am not prepared through this "education" to go out and make house payments, do my own taxes, or even budget my own money. These are all things that I had to learn on my own and many people will be just as ready for the real world without and education, as I am right now. So, you can see why I'm pissed. If I've literally paid you thousands and thousands of dollars and you haven't given me nothing but a piece of paper saying I'm "educated"(whatever that means), then what do I owe you? Everything. I need to change myself and use my experiences to better this system for the next guy. For the next girl, I need to let my voice be heard and make a change. I have more knowledge about the current education system than any old guy or lady on the state board, simply because I'm IN it. It's up to us, right here and right now to do our part for the next people that walk through these doors.

Education...

The video in class wich we watched was hugely impactful. It was eye opening to see some of the things that people who have been trained by this education, want to change with the education. In my life I feel that many of my friends have said things about what they dislike about this education system, but I'm so used to blowing it off because they are all my age and can't do anything immediate about it. The in depth look that we got with this video was the best part, we saw the idea that we are completely learning the wrong way. For example, whats the point of spending $110 on a text book when we live in this world with such updated and new technology that there are much more affordable ways to learn. Whats the point in exams when in real life, we have instruction, abilities to "Google", and the ability to call someone and as? What's the point in requiring us to find x-mr+67473/44 if were not going to be an astronaut? The list goes on and on. The dangerous part for our leaders in the education system, is that our eyes are now opened.
